Cozy Carnival Fragrance Oil
What it smells like and what it does in a base
The ultimate sweet escape on a chilly autumn day. What do we all head straight for at a fall festival? Funnel cakes and cotton candy — but this fragrance goes deeper than the classics, blended with rich pumpkin spice and toasted marshmallow for a festive autumn twist as you wander the carnival under the twinkling lights.
For the formulator, this is the sweetest oil in the collection and the most demanding. Vanillin is the highest in the set at ~10%, so any light base will brown, and it is not rated for cold process soap. The IFRA certificate is also the tightest: 1.485% across most skin categories and 0.606% for body sprays. That ceiling is below our base allowance for body sprays, scrubs and bath products.
Sweater Weather
Seven scents for the season when the only plan is a blanket, a book and nowhere to be. Mornings on the porch, afternoons in bed, evenings off the clock — cosy gourmands, one spiced chai and one autumn floral.

Tagged year-round rather than seasonal, and that is accurate. The Sweater Weather window is a merchandising decision, not a limit on the oil.

Why our oils behave differently from most
Many suppliers sell fragrance oils cut with carrier oils or diluents to reduce cost. Ours are concentrated, pure, undiluted and cosmetic grade. A concentrated oil means a lower fragrance load per batch — a little goes a long way, and your cost per unit drops even when the per-ounce price does not.
Product compatibility is not the responsibility of Essentials By Catalina, Inc. We strongly advise sampling before committing to larger quantities so you can evaluate performance, compatibility and safety in your own formulation. Keep all products out of children's reach.
