Description
Off the Clock Fragrance Oil
What it smells like and what it does in a base
Rich toasted vanilla bean and brown sugar set the mood the moment you get home, shed your work clothes and wrap yourself in comfy layers. There's no place like home.
For the formulator, this is the easiest oil in the collection to work with. It is certified under the 51st Amendment with very wide limits — in every one of our bases the base runs out of capacity long before IFRA does — and it is rated suitable for cold process soap. The flashpoint is a little lower than its siblings at 187 °F, still comfortably above a melt-and-pour pour.
Sweater Weather
Seven scents for the season when the only plan is a blanket, a book and nowhere to be. Mornings on the porch, afternoons in bed, evenings off the clock — cosy gourmands, one spiced chai and one autumn floral.

Tagged year-round rather than seasonal, and that is accurate. The Sweater Weather window is a merchandising decision, not a limit on the oil.

Why our oils behave differently from most
Many suppliers sell fragrance oils cut with carrier oils or diluents to reduce cost. Ours are concentrated, pure, undiluted and cosmetic grade. A concentrated oil means a lower fragrance load per batch — a little goes a long way, and your cost per unit drops even when the per-ounce price does not.
Product compatibility is not the responsibility of Essentials By Catalina, Inc. We strongly advise sampling before committing to larger quantities so you can evaluate performance, compatibility and safety in your own formulation. Keep all products out of children's reach.
