Please keep in mind that drums and freight orders are considered final sale and cannot be returned or refunded. We highly encourage you to carefully inspect your order upon delivery and notify us of any issues or shortages within 48 hours of the signed delivery. Our team is dedicated to assisting you and will do everything possible to address any concerns you may have as quickly as possible.

What is a liftgate? #
A liftgate is a mechanism designed to facilitate the loading and unloading of heavy freight onto trucks. While manual handling of goods is possible, the weight of the freight often necessitates the use of a liftgate to prevent injuries, protect the integrity of the goods, and mitigate potential legal liabilities arising from accidents at factory or warehouse sites.
A liftgate is specifically intended to lower goods from the truck to the ground or vice versa. The liftgate service is not intended for the movement of pallets or goods beyond the immediate vicinity of the truck. Once the freight is safely lowered to the ground, further handling, relocation, or placement of the pallets or goods is the responsibility of the recipient.
When do I need a liftgate delivery service? #
You will require a liftgate delivery service under the following circumstances:
- If your facility lacks a loading dock
- If your facility does not have forklifts and certified forklift operators
- When delivering goods to residential or office locations
Are there liftgate fees? #
Yes, liftgate delivery fees are applicable when utilizing liftgate services. To request liftgate assistance, please indicate "Yes" in the "Assistance Lowering the Pallet?" section of the drum purchase form. Failure to select this option and subsequently using liftgate services during delivery will result in additional fines imposed by the freight company, which will be passed on to you, the consignee.
Freight Delivery Considerations #
For customers who are receiving a freight shipment, it's important to know the following information:
- Freight carriers do not typically call prior to delivery. If you require this service, please include a comment in your order, and we will add this on at an additional cost.
- Redelivery fees incurred are billed directly to us by the freight company. To circumvent passing them on to our customers, we urge you to be vigilant in monitoring shipments and coordinating with the respective carriers to minimize any additional charges.
