Mixing Recommendations
Follow these steps for consistent results
Work at room temperature
Mix within a range of 20–25 °C (68–77 °F). No heating is required.
Add fragrance or essential oil and colorant
Mix in slowly until fully incorporated and uniform.
Mix directly in the container
This base can be mixed directly in your gallon container, or hand-mixed with a spatula.

Shelf Life
This product has a shelf life of 1 year from the date of manufacture when stored properly. Being alcohol-based, it will typically last well beyond this.

Store in a Cool, Dry Place
Keep containers at 60–80 °F (15–27 °C), away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Flammable — keep away from open flame or fire.

Keep Containers Sealed
Always replace lids and caps tightly after each use. Exposure to air can introduce contaminants and accelerate degradation.

When scooping or transferring product, use clean utensils to prevent cross-contamination. Avoid reaching in with bare hands.

Hello, is this body mist also safe for hair application? -

Does this base appear completely clear after adding oils? -
The Body Spray Base is crystal clear, but the color of your fragrance oil can tint it. Some FOs are dark and some are light. It all depends on the color of your oil.

If I purchase the spray base and glitter can I just mix glitter with base and add fragrance
Is that the same as the other glamorus spray base you sell-
If you add glitter to the Body Spray base, it will sink to the bottom. We suggest our Shimmer Mist, as the glitter is suspended in the formula.

Hi! love your bases. Question. I have the body spray base. Some of the fragrances incorporate just fine while others don’t and you can kind of see it at the bottom even though the fragrance oil is clear. It there a way to fix this? Get it to fully mix together like the others -
Hello Brittany, if you have fragrance oils that are not compatible with the base you can try mixing the oil with polysorbate 20 prior to mixing it with the base to emulsify the oil into the body spray. Emulsification is also affected by temperature, so if the oils are cold due to the winter weather they may take time to mix into the base (we see this more with certain essential oils).
If the polysorbate does not help the oil mix into the base the oil may not be compatible due to the ingredients used to make the fragrance. We test all oils for compatibility here at our facility prior to adding them to our product line to ensure that they will work without issue. We also always suggest making small compatibility samples prior to committing to larger batches of mixed product to avoid ruining an entire batch of product due to incompatibility.I hope this is helpful, let us know if you have any further questions.

Hello , I just purchased and received the Body spray base, the Basic body cream base and the Foaming bath whip base. I would like some advice on how to best use them .
For the Body spray base is there a recommended wait period to allow the fragrance to fully blend with the base?-
Thank you for reaching out. With regard to the Body Spray, there is no waiting period at all. You can add your FO or EO up to the recommended amount which is 5% (all of the fragrance we sell is pure, uncut Cosmetic grade. If you purchase oils from anywhere else, you will want to test for compatibility), shake well, and begin using.

How much fragrance or essential oil can be added? -
Hi Elaine, we recommend adding anywhere between 1 – 5% pure, uncut, cosmetic grade fragrance or essential oil to our Body Spray base. If mixing in smaller bottles, a rule of thumb remember is that 1% = 7 drops of fragrance per ounce of base. And as always, consult the “Customization” tab on the product page for specific mixing instructions and percentages – and make sure to make a small test batch for compatibility prior to mixing the entire quantity. Good Morning, you can scent our body spray up to 5% which is equal to a cologne strength. We have tested it with all of the FOs we sell, but if you are using fragrance from elsewhere, you will need to test for compatibility. Thank you

Hello Rosali, the body spray has been tested to support up to 5% fragrance oil. If using a higher concentration of fragrance you would want to compatibility test your oil with the base to ensure that it emulsifies.
