BV-OSC is an active form of Vitamin C which improves collagen synthesis. While ascorbic acid is considered superior by many chemists, a major drawback is that it can be irritating and is very volatile in personal care formulations. This is why we chose this, much more stable form of Vitamin C which is easier to formulate into skincare and personal care products.

BV-OSC is oil soluble. Some of its benefits include antioxidant activity. It has higher bio-availability than ascorbic acid, which allows use of a stable product at lower levels while producing greater improvements in hydration and superficial wrinkle smoothing. BV-OSC comes in a clear colorless liquid form.

Can be used In skincare products including skin lighteners, antioxidant formulations and facial gel formulas. This is a light yellow liquid with a faint characteristic odor which may alter the color and smell of the original product, something worth paying attention to during testing.
