Mixing Recommendations
Follow these steps for consistent results
Work at room temperature
Mix within a range of 20–25 °C (68–77 °F). No heating is required.
Add fragrance or essential oil and additives
Mix in slowly until fully incorporated and uniform. This base can be mixed directly in your gallon container — hand-mixing with a spatula or an electric mixer with a paddle attachment is recommended.

Shelf Life
This product has a shelf life of 1 year from the date of manufacture when stored properly.
Store in a Cool, Dry Place
Keep containers at 60–80 °F (15–27 °C), away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Avoid storing near windows, radiators, or in vehicles.
Keep Containers Sealed
Always replace lids and caps tightly after each use. Exposure to air can introduce contaminants and accelerate degradation.
Use Clean Tools
When scooping or transferring product, use clean utensils to prevent cross-contamination. Avoid reaching in with bare hands.

Hello,
The customization tab state up to 1% fragrance load. I’m testing 4oz of the weightless dry oil using 1.18ml of fragrance based off the calculations and I can’t smell anything. Is this correct?-
A 1% fragrance load equals roughly 7 drops of fragrance to each ounce of product, so for a 4 ounce sample you should be adding 28 drops of fragrance, and if you are using pure, uncut, cosmetic grade fragrance oil, that should be plenty to provide a nice scent.

Hi, has the ingredients in the silky dry oil base changed since 2020? It worked wonders for my face back then, but I break out easily and need to make sure there were no changes or additions. -

Hi there, what are the differences between the Silky Dry Oil Base and the Weightless Dry Oil Base? We want to do on a roll-on bottles. Which one will be better for this application?

Hi Yigit, the Silky Oil contains silicones to make it feel dry and almost powdery on skin.
The Weightless is a blend of natural oils. Most customers use the Weightless for perfume roll-ons.

Hi Ken, thanks for reaching out. You always want to consult the “Customization” tab on the product page for detailed mixing instructions and recommended percentages.
We recommend a 1% fragrance load in the Silky. If you are using pure, uncut, cosmetic grade FO or EO, 1% is plenty to give a nice strong fragrance. Keep in mind, some fragrances are inherently lighter than others.Thank you

Loved until price doubled

Thank you for reaching out Tammie, unfortunately silicone has seen price increases of over 200% over the past year due to industry wide shortages. These price increases were sudden and a result of reduced manufacturing by the largest manufactures in the industry. This affected all of our silicone based products (argan shine serum, argan shine spray, and silky dry oil). When this occurred we were forced to choose between raising prices substantially, or discontinuing production of these products due to price increases. These products are small batch and popular amongst many of our customers so we tested the price increase, and due to the resale profit margins for these higher end items most of our regular customers were understanding, and adjusted their pricing accordingly. We apologize that you have had to discontinue this product, and hope for a resolution to the supply chain issues in the coming year.
