Mixing Recommendations
Follow these steps for consistent results
Melt the base
Melt in a double boiler, or a microwave for smaller quantities. Do not allow the soap to come to a boil.
Add fragrance and other additives
Once fully melted, add your fragrance or essential oil, colorant, and any other additives. Mix in slowly until fully incorporated.
Mix gently, without whipping in air
Hand-mixing with a spatula works well for small batches. For larger volumes, use an electric mixer with a paddle attachment. Avoid incorporating too much air while mixing.
Pour, cool, and un-mold
Pour into your mold and let rest until fully solid. Silicone molds work best for most applications; wood block molds are great for bulk quantities. Once fully cooled, un-mold and wrap — your soaps are ready.

Hello, I purchased this soap and found that it is pretty soft and pliable. Once its melted and allowed to cool, will it set hard? -
Good Afternoon, glycerin soaps are by nature softer than cold process, but yes, once you melt and pour into molds, it sets into normal soap texture. Please be advised that the more you add to it, the softer your end result will be. We recommend no more than 1% fragrance. Hope this helps!

Is this soap pure white, cream or yellow in color? -
This base is a pearlized gel, that is off white due to the color of the ingredients used in the base. Thank you for your question!
