Avocado is everywhere these days. The endless benefits of this tree fruit have us eating it on toast, putting it in our hair, and now our skin! Our Avocado Body Butter is loaded with avocado oil to deliver all of that green goodness directly to your skin.
Cold Pressed Perfection
Our Avocado Oil is of the highest possible quality. That means rather than going through processing, our oil is cold pressed and extracted from the fruit’s pulp. This is what we use as a base for this incredible body butter.
Packed with vitamins A, D, and E avocado oil is wonderful for hydrating and protecting your skin. It also contains unsaturated fatty acids, beta-carotene, and lots of powerful proteins. It’s a real powerhouse oil!

Mixing Recommendations
Follow these steps for consistent results
Work at room temperature
Mix within a range of 20–25 °C (68–77 °F). No heating is required.
Add in the right order
Blend in fragrance or essential oil first, then colorant, then additives — adding each one slowly until fully incorporated.
Mix until uniform
Hand-mixing with a spatula works well for small batches. For larger volumes, use an electric mixer with a paddle attachment.

Hello i wanted to ask if this cream consistency can come through a manual filling machine to jars and lotion bottles ? Or is it too thick and a pastry bag should be used for less mess and wasted product. Thank you -

Good Morning, thank you for the great feedback. I love the Avocado base! We are waiting on one ingredient to make the next batch, and it is scheduled to arrive next week. Once it is made it takes 7 – 10 days to pass micro, then will be released. Thank you for your patience!

Can this be used to create an in-shower body butter sugar scrub? -
Hi Heather, our avocado body butter is a lotion. A better choice would be our Sugar and Shea Body Polish, or if you want to make it yourself, Foaming Bath Whip. You can add sugar and butters as needed and whip it up.

Good Morning, the Avocado Body Butter is formulated for body, so it may be too rich for the face, but there is no reason you can’t use it if you like how it performs for your facial skin. We do manufacture multiple facial formulas using ingredients specifically for facial skin: https://essentialsbycatalina.com/product-category/bath-and-body-bases/facial-formulations/ If it’s the avocado oil you desire, you can add a little to any one of the facial moisturizers as well. Can I add shea butter to your avocado body butter base, thank you in advance -
HI Carla, That is something you would need to test. We’d suggest only adding a couple percent, and you will probably need to melt the butters and warm the base to incorporate them. Hope this helps.
