Ingredients:
Materials:
- Heat safe containers
- Mixing tools
- Pipets
- Soap loaf mold
- Measuring cups / spoons
- Scale
Instructions:
- Measure your Melt & Pour Soap Base and cut into 1 inch cubes
- Separate the cut soap into 3 parts
- Melt 1 part of the melt & pour soap base in a double boiler or a microwave
- Mix in 2 tsp of the Sea Salt Fragrance Oil
- Add caramel color with a pipet a drop or two at a time until you reach your desired pigment (this will be the color of your sand)
- Pour your now tan soap into the loaf mold and sprinkle the walnut powder on top
- Place layer in the fridge and allow time to cool completely
- Melt the last 2 parts of your soap base in a double boiler or a microwave
- Mix in 2 tsp of the Sea Salt Fragrance Oil into each part of your melted soap base
- Add blue color with a pipet a drop or two at a time until you reach your desired pigment for both parts of soap. One part should be lighter than the other
- Gently pour the darker shade of blue onto the cooled tan soap. You should use a rubber spatula to ensure you break the fall of the soap as you are pouring
- Pour the lighter shade of blue into the darker shade you already poured, you should be pouring from one end of the loaf to the other in figure eight shapes to create a swirling effect
- Pour the fine sea salts on top of your loaf, don't worry about some sinking in and some sitting on top, that's what makes the top of the soap look like a wave
- Allow soap to cool completely in the refrigerator
- Cut soap into 1 inch bars, your soap is now ready to be packaged or enjoyed immediately!
How to Use:
Use this soap as you would a normal bar of hand soap. Wet hands, lather soap onto hands for a least 20 seconds, and rinse. This soap will leave your hands feeling squeaky clean and hydrated!
