Pure Fresh Linen & Room Spray Base
Our Pure Fresh Linen & Room Spray neutralizes bad smells in seconds with its advanced technology that eliminates them at the source. Our alcohol-free, water-based formula can be customized with solubilized fragrance or essential oils (see the Customization tab above for complete details), making it perfect for use at home, office, dorm, hotel room or any space where you want to neutralize bad odors and add fragrance instantly. In addition to neutralizing pet odors, cigarette smoke, cooking, and bathroom odors, it also freshens and deodorizes linens, towels, and clothing with a unique conditioning agent. Unlike other products that only mask odors, our Pure Fresh Spray eliminates the problem and leaves any space smelling fresh and clean.

Fragrance & Essential Oils
Give your formulation its signature scent
Solubilizer guidance: A solubilizer is needed if adding fragrance or essential oils to this water-based product. Pre-mix your Polysorbate 20 with your fragrance before adding it to the base — start at a 1:1 ratio and increase up to 5:1 depending on the specific fragrance. Small-batch testing is strongly recommended. If a fragrance doesn't solubilize on the first attempt, adding more Polysorbate to the already-scented base will not correct it; the pre-mix step is essential.

Mixing Recommendations
Follow these steps for consistent results
Work at room temperature
Mix within a range of 20–25 °C (68–77 °F). No heating is required.
Add your pre-mixed fragrance and additives
Mix in slowly until fully incorporated and uniform. Hand-mixing with a spatula or mixing directly in the gallon is recommended for this base. Oil-soluble ingredients or oil-soluble fragrances must be pre-mixed with a solubilizer such as Polysorbate 20 before adding.

Shelf Life
This product has a shelf life of 1 year from the date of manufacture when stored properly.
Store in a Cool, Dry Place
Keep containers at 60–80 °F (15–27 °C), away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Avoid storing near windows, radiators, or in vehicles.
Keep Containers Sealed
Always replace lids and caps tightly after each use. Exposure to air can introduce contaminants and accelerate degradation.
Use Clean Tools
When scooping or transferring product, use clean utensils to prevent cross-contamination. Avoid reaching in with bare hands.

The Pure Fresh base is formulated for spraying on fabrics and linens, as a fabric refresher and room spray. It is not intended for skin.

I am trying to make a lavender fabric spray using your base, 1%lavender 42/40 essential oil and multiple ratios of polysorbate 20 to oil. At 1:1 ratio the mixture is too cloudy. To get a clear mixture I went up to a 4:1 ratio but the liquid comes out of spray bottle too thick. A stream rather than spray. Any suggestions? -
Hi Lisa, while some oils will eventually clear up, the majority of fragrance and essentials oils won’t, and are not going to result in a crystal clear base. That is why most linen/room sprays are marketed in aluminum or colored bottles. That cloudiness has no bearing on your final product’s performance. We suggest lessening the ratio of poly so it’s not thick or sticky, and choosing an opaque or solid bottle. Thank you
