Valentine’s day is right around the corner, and it has inspired me to make this body scrub starting with our Sugar and Shea Body Polish Base. The combination of granulated sugar and shea butter create the perfect combo product – an exfoliator and moisturizer all in one! Let’s jump into this recipe!
Materials:
- Bowl and/or bags for mixing
- Mixing tools
- Piping bag and piping tip
- Jars/containers to store your scrubs
Instructions:
- Weigh your Sugar and Shea Body Polish Base and place in a large bowl
- Mix in the Sweet Pea Fragrance Oil thoroughly
- Divide the scented sugar scrub into 3 separate parts
- Once you have separated the sugar scrub, place into bowls or bags for mixing in the color
- Thoroughly mix in the liquid colorant to your desired pigment for each one
- Prepare your piping bag by placing the tip inside, then scoop or pipe the colored sugar scrubs into the piping bag, alternating colors as you fill it (alternating colors more will give you more diverse colored swirls and vice versa)
- Pipe into your jars/containers and your Valentine's Day inspired sugar and shea body scrub is ready for use or storage!
