Materials:
- Heat safe bowls/beakers
- Rubber Spatula
- Mixing tools/utensils
- Scale/measuring cups
- Mini hearts silicone mold
- Large rectangular silicone soap or resin mold
Instructions:
Mini Heart Embeds:
- Measure 4 oz of Goat's Milk Melt and Pour Soap Base and cut into 1 inch cubes
- Place cut soap in your heat safe bowl/beaker and microwave in 30 second increments until completely melted
- Stir in 1/2 tsp of A Thousand Wishes Fragrance Oil and Liquid Soap Colorant a few drops at a time until your desired hue is reached
- Pour the mixture into your silicone heart molds and let cool completely
- Repeat these steps until you have your desired amount of mini heart embeds
Soap Bars
- Measure 2 lbs of your melt and pour soap base and place into your heat safe container. Then measure out 1 lb of the melt and pour soap base and place in a different heat safe container
- Place the first 2 lbs of cut soap in the microwave in 30 second increments until completely melted
- Stir in 4 teaspoons of Casablanca Lily Fragrance Oil. Then stir in your cherry liquid soap colorant a drop at a time until your desired hue is reached
- Pour the mixture into your large mold and allow to cool. Allow to cool until you can put your hand on top of the soap and it is solid, but still warm
- While waiting for the soap in the mold to cool, you can prepare the next layer by placing your other 1 lb of soap in the microwave in 30 second increments until completely melted
- Once completely melted, mix in 2 teaspoons of Casablanca Lily Fragrance Oil
- Pouring gently and using a rubber spatula to break the fall, pour the melted soap onto the previous layer of soap
- Now, working quickly, place your mini heart embeds into the layer of liquid soap
- Allow time to cool before demolding and cutting
- Once cut, your soap bars are ready to use or package up!
