As the colder weather sets in, the need for a good moisturizer becomes crucial. That’s why we’ve been hard at work formulating the perfect Ultra Hydrating Hand and Foot Balm. Our balm is crafted with our Lotion Bar & Balm Base — an all-natural blend packed with moisturizing elements like Shea Butter, White Cocoa Butter, Almond Oil, and Argan Oil. This base provides an excellent foundation for any hydrating product. Adding more hydrating ingredients and natural essential oils allows us to create the ideal Ultra Hydrating Hand & Foot Balm.
Materials:
- Heat safe bowl/container
- Mixing utensils
- Scale/measuring cups
- Jars to store your balms
Instructions:
- Measure out 8 oz of the Lotion Bar and Balm Base and place in heat safe container
- Next, measure 2 oz of the Refined Shea Butter and place in the same heat safe container
- Melt the Lotion Bar and Balm Base and the Refined Shea Butter in the microwave in 30 second increments until completely melted, stirring in between
- Next, measure out 1 oz of Vitamin E Acetate and 1 oz of Castor Oil and mix into the melted mixture
- Measure and mix in 3/4 tsp Peppermint Essential Oil and 3/4 tsp Lavender Essential Oil
- Once thoroughly mixed, pour into your jars
- Allow balms to cool completely, then you can put caps on them
- Your balms are now ready for storage or immediate use!
