Jelly soap is always fun because of it’s unique texture, but today we’re kicking it up a notch by turning it into a mini galaxy!
Materials:
- 3 heat safe containers
- Double boiler or microwave
- 3 separate mixing utensils
- Heatproof glove or mitt
- Thick jar/mold
- Storage containers
Instructions:
- Separate your jelly soap base into three equal parts and put in heat safe containers
- If using a double boiler, melt soap on medium heat. If using a microwave, heat soap in 30 second intervals until completely melted
- Once all of the soap is completely melted, add 1% fragrance to each part
- Use 1tsp of each glitter for every 8 ounces of soap
- Add Blue Soap Colorant and Midnight Sky Glitter to one part
- Add Violet Soap Colorant and Rose Gold Glitter to another part
- Add Pink Soap Colorant to the final part of your melted soap
- Quickly pour each mixed part into your jars/molds, make sure you do this before your soap begins to set
- Quickly and gently swirl the colors barely enough so you see a cosmic effect
- Let soap cool completely, then place in your container for storage
How to Use:
This soap may be used a hand soap or body soap. Use the same way as you would use a regular bar soap, or pinch off a little bit and wash as normal.
