Post-shaving irritation is no joke. The bumps, the soreness, and the tight, dry feeling are something that almost everyone has experienced at some point in their life. We set out to change that. We wanted to create a product that promotes a positive shaving experience, even when shaving daily. Our Aftershave Gel soothes and nourishes irritated skin to leave you feeling refreshed.

Fold in additives slowly until the mixture is fully homogeneous. To preserve this base's lightweight, non-greasy character, we recommend water-compatible actives rather than heavy oils or butters:
Mixing Recommendations
Follow these steps for consistent results
Work at room temperature
Mix within a range of 20–25 °C (68–77 °F). No heating is required.
Add in the right order
Blend in fragrance or essential oil first, then colorant, then additives — adding each one slowly until fully incorporated.
Mix gently, without whipping in air
Hand-mixing with a spatula works well for small batches. For larger volumes, use an electric mixer with a paddle attachment. Avoid incorporating too much air, which can affect the gel's clarity and texture.
Handle with care
This base contains menthol and SD Alcohol 40B. Wear gloves and a hair covering while working, avoid touching your face or eyes, and wash your hands thoroughly after handling.

Shelf Life
This product has a shelf life of 1 year from the date of manufacture when stored properly.
Store in a Cool, Dry Place
Keep containers at 60–80 °F (15–27 °C), away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Avoid storing near windows, radiators, or in vehicles.
Keep Containers Sealed
Always replace lids and caps tightly after each use. Exposure to air can introduce contaminants and accelerate degradation.
Use Clean Tools
When scooping or transferring product, use clean utensils to prevent cross-contamination. Avoid reaching in with bare hands.

Hi, I wanted to know if I just add my fragrance oil to this base and that is it?

Hi Teri, keep in mind, the Aftershave Gel already contains menthol which makes it smell nice, so adding more fragrance is not really necessary, but if you choose to, mints, citrus, and herbals would be a nice addition. As always, you want to consult the “Customization” tab below the main photos for specific mixing instructions and percentages. Adding scent is easy, simply add the recommended .05% and cold mix. Hello, I wanted to ask if I’m able to still call my after shave gel naturally derived if the base contains SD Alcohol 40B? Also are you able to tell me what percentage of SD Alcohol 40B is used in the base? Thank you -
Hi Corena, the Aftershave Gel is not considered a natural product, however, the alcohol used in the formula is considered natural. Unfortunately percentages of formulas are proprietary information and cannot be disclosed. Thank you
