Essentials by Catalina has been approved as a licensee of Made in California, the state's official manufacturer labeling program. Every base carrying the label is blended, filled, and packed at our Corona facility, not imported, not drop-shipped, not private-labeled from somewhere else.

The Standard
What the label actually certifies
Made in California is a state-administered program, not a marketing sticker anyone can buy. Approval required documenting where our products are made and how much of their value is created here.
Real California manufacturing
The program is limited to businesses that manufacture in California and meet the state's threshold for how much of a product's value is created in-state. Reselling an imported product doesn't qualify it.
Verified, not self-declared
Applications go through GO-Biz's Office of the Small Business Advocate, with certification of the products entered into the state's program database. The license runs for a fixed term and has to be renewed.
Product-specific
The label attaches to certified products, not to a company as a whole. That's why you'll see it on our manufactured bases and not on every SKU in the catalog.

A traceable answer
When a retailer or customer asks where your base is manufactured, you can point to a state-certified facility with an address, not a vague "domestically sourced."
Shorter, steadier supply
Domestic blending means lead times measured against a truck route rather than an ocean container — and no exposure to shifting import costs on the base itself.
Claims you can support
Our certification is ours and isn't transferable to your finished product. But it does back up how you describe your sourcing — and we'll supply documentation if a retailer asks for it.
