Pomegranate extract not only nourishes skin, but also prevents damage caused due to free radicals. It stimulates cellular regeneration and is an effective anti-inflammatory. It is high in essential fatty acids which possesses potent anti-aging compounds that help stimulate keratinocyte cells (skin cells) thereby aiding in cellular regeneration.
The Vitamin C present in pomegranates plays a key role in collagen formation (skin is made up of collagen and elastic fibers), thus enabling the various proteins responsible for making healthy and stronger skin flourish. It also aids in moisturizing our skin with micronutrients and phytochemicals.
