I bought a sample and I’m hooked. I must admit, after the first wash I wasn’t a fan at all. My hair felt weird after I washed. But I’ve been using it along with the basic conditioner and I love it! The consistency is thick and held the fragrance oil very well. While there is a lather, it’s not like a store bought shampoo. This is likely due to the more mild surfactants used in the formula. I do not have color treated hair, so I can’t comment on that.

    Hi. I know this depends on IFRA, but what’s the max percentage of Fragrance Oil that this base can take (before becoming runny)?

      We recommend a 1% fragrance load to the color protection shampoo. (Pure, uncut, cosmetic grade FO). If using any other type of FO we recommend small batch testing for compatibility.
