Cold and flu season will be here before we know it, which means it is the perfect time to learn how to make shower steamers. Specifically today, we will be making Eucalyptus shower steamers for colds and congestion. These steamers are super simple to make, especially since we carry everything you need!
Materials:
- Bowl for mixing
- Spoon/mixing tool
- Molds
- Container for storage
Mixture before and after adding water:
Instructions:
- Measure your Fizzie Powder and put in a bowl for mixing
- Add 10 drops of Eucalyptus essential oil and mix thoroughly
- Add 16 drops of liquid green colorant and mix thoroughly
- Add water 1 tsp at a time until your mixture resembles damp sand (it will fizz a little when adding the water and that is okay)
- Press mixture into your mold firmly, making sure the edges are packed down tightly
- If using a silicone mold, gently push the bottom to release the shower melt. If using a hard mold, tap the mold upside down to release the shower melt
- Put in your container for storage and your melts are ready to use
How to Use:
- Place in the bottom of the shower next to the drain. The draining and splashing water will activate the steamer and release the scent
