Materials:
- Heat safe bowls/pitchers
- Mixing utensils
- Scale/measuring cups
- Vegetable peeler
- Christmas tree silicone mold
- Loaf Soap Mold
Prep Instructions:
- Melt 6-8 oz of Goat's Milk Melt & Pour Soap in 30 second increments in the microwave until fully melted
- Add in the Green Liquid Soap Colorant a few drops at a time until your desired hue is reached
- Pour the mixed, green liquid soap into your christmas tree silicone molds.
- Wait for the soap to fully harden before unmolding
- Next, with another 6-8 oz of Goat's Milk Melt & Pour Soap, use your vegetable peeler to make thin slices of soap. It doesn't matter what shape they are as long as they are thin slices - the more random the better!
Instructions:
- Put about 3/4 of your thin soap slices into the bottom of your soap loaf mold. Press the white soap into the bottom of the soap mold
- Take your now hardened Christmas trees and place upright in the bottom of the soap mold. It will help if you press the trees into the "snow" or white soap. This will ensure they don't move around when you pour the clear soap on top
- Measure out 3 lbs of the Ultra Clear Melt & Pour Soap and cut into 1 inch cubes
- Next, melt your soap in the microwave in 30 second increments until completely melted
- Mix 1 oz of Christmas Tree Farm Fragrance Oil into your melted soap
- Mix in a drop or two of the Blue Liquid Soap Colorant to give your soap a slight blue hue
- Then mix in a bit of the Midnight Sky Glitter. Start with just a pinch so you don't have too much, you can always add more
- Stirring occasionally, let your melted soap cool to at least 50°C (122°F)
- Once cooled to at least 50°C, gently pour into the soap loaf mold.
- Finally, place the rest of your white soap slices onto the top of the soap loaf, you can push them down into the soap a bit so they look like little clouds.
- Wait for your soap to cool completely before demolding and cutting into bars
- After cutting, your soap will be ready for packaging or immediate use!
