There’s one decision that all soap makers have in common – what to do with your soap scraps. Some might put them in exfoliating bags or melt them down and reuse them in the next batch, but we’re going to use them to make the Picasso masterpieces of the soap world! So gather your scraps and let’s get started on this scrappy soap project.
Materials:
Heat safe bowl
Mixing utensils
Soap loaf mold
Measuring spoons
Measuring Scale
Instructions:
Cut your soap scraps into small pieces and then fill your soap loaf mold
Measure out 1-2 lbs of White Melt & Pour Soap Base (depending on how many soap scraps you have)
Melt your Melt & Pour Soap Base in the microwave for 30 second increments, stirring in between, until completely melted
Mix 1 1/2 tsp of Warm Vanilla Sugar Fragrance Oil into your melted soap base
Pour your melted soap with fragrance over into your loaf mold over the soap scraps
Let cool thoroughly and then cut into bars
Your soaps are ready for packaging or immediate use!
