It is a waxy, crystalline substance, clear to white in color, solid at room temperature and melts slightly above. Menthol Crystals contain no less than 99.4% Menthol and are all but insoluble in water or glycerin, while completely soluble in alcohol and essential oils. They are widely used because of their unique characteristics: intense mint aroma, cooling, tingling sensation, and refreshing feel after use.
